Bought at target and wanted to try a couple days before vacation. I tried it on my bikini line, which skin was held taught. It barely grabbed onto any of my hair, left it bruised, and was SUPER sticky. I decided to then try it on my underarms thinking the area would be easier to control since the hair is all going on direction and the skin could be held more taught. Nope- barely any hair was pulled, tried it again, and same result. Then decided to try on my calf, as the hair there isn’t as thick and should be easier to wax, but to no avail. Now left bruised, sticky (reguardless of the after wipes) and hair still in tact. Upset and disappointed with this product.

First off if I could I would give this a 0 but I cant so one will have to do. Second this is nothing but a sticky mess. Third my bikini line is red and looks so bruised and it felt like my skin was being ripped off my body. The glue or wax is still on my bikini line and it’s currently 10:38 and I have my legs spread open so that they don’t stick to eachother! I was sitting in bath tub since 9 trying to soak it off and it’s starting to get somewhat less sticky after I put Vaseline on and wiped it off but still hurts and stings. I have to go swimming tomorrow and I’m afraid I might not be able to and I would rather not tell my dad about this… I also have tennis and it hurts to walk and season starts literally Monday….!!!!! And to top it all off like two strands of hair came off….. Don’t use this I’m begging you it’s the worst ever and I would rather have a big bush than this red trashy rashy mess that I have going on. So if you get anything out of this message….. DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!! (Especially if you have sensitive skin).
FFlamingo1 month agoSo sorry to hear about this difficult first wax. Sometimes waxing can cause bruising if the skin is not held taut enough while removing the strip (this can be especially difficult when waxing in small areas or difficult angles) - the tugging on the skin can cause the bruising to happen. i brought this at target thinking it will work , it was absolutely sticky, i have washed it off about 5 times with soap its still sticky, wax shouldn’t feel this sticky after , you packed it with a after cloth but that stuck too and left me horrible residue, no one should go through that much sticky and that much stress to get the after off horrible product.
FFlamingo1 month agoWe're so sorry to hear about your disappointing first wax! There can definitely be a learning curve to using our soft gel wax. When you apply the strip, it's important to really massage the strip into your skin with your thumb (so the hairs fully embed in the wax). This helps ensure you remove the hair from the root rather than the hair breaking at the follicle. Pull the skin taut at the base of the strip with your non-dominant hand. Then pull the strip quickly and close to skin. Post wax residue is totally normal and, in addition to the Post Wax Cloths, you can use any sort of oil-based product (or even coconut oil) on a cotton pad or cotton swab to remove excess wax.
