I don't hate them, but with the shields on the sides, it is more challenging to make sure they are thoroughly rinsed. But they are better than the mens razors in the sense that there are less knicks. The men's blade has an extra blade "precision trimmer" on the front that makes it sharp occasionally if you forget it's there. With the women's blades you can glide in the backwards direction easily.

I have never gotten cut so many times with other blades than I have with the original one that came on the handle. Yesterday, 10/30/25, it cut my left leg near the ankle so badly I thought I might have to go to an urgent care facility near me. I couldn’t see the cut to stop the bleeding. When I finally got a picture of it I was shocked. I have been cut at least 8-10 times so far. I agree with the other customer on these reviews that said the handle needs to be redesigned. It needs to be chunkier and ridged so you can hold it without it just sliding in your hand. I’m going to change out the blade and see if the new blade is better. Not happy so far.

In the meantime, I know sometimes it can take some time to adjust to using a new razor or new blades, so I would suggest playing around with the angle and amount of pressure you're using while shaving.

These razors miss a lot especially around bony areas (knees, ankles), I find these a little too wide to get a close shave in those areas without hurting myself. There is no discomfort from the stuff on the razors, so that is a plus.

Over the years, I have switched brands of shavers but none of them have ever come close to being as great as Flamingo’s. The original blades offer a very comfortable and smooth shave. These really are the best!
